Frequently Asked Questions
SSURGO soil data by parcel for engineering and land teams.
Can I get SSURGO soil data by parcel today?
Yes, by address. The Pro PDF ($49) covers the map unit at the address point and all map units within 40 ft, with component, horizon and engineering data. Reports clipped to surveyed parcel boundaries are planned for the Pro plan.
What is the Pro plan?
A planned subscription for engineers and land teams who order reports regularly: report bundles, bulk lookups, parcel-boundary reports and exports. It isn't live yet. Join the waitlist and tell us your volume so we can shape it.
Is this the same data as Web Soil Survey?
Yes. It is USDA-NRCS SSURGO, queried live through Soil Data Access, the same database behind Web Soil Survey. We save you the area-of-interest drawing and tab work, and package the results for a project file.
Can I put my project or client name on the report?
Yes. The Pro report lets you add a project name and client name to the cover.
Which areas are covered?
We currently cover Washington, DC. SSURGO covers nearly all of the United States; tell us where you work on the waitlist form so we can prioritize.
