SoilReport is operated by IrieWorld, LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use SoilReport, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Addresses you search, and the map location and USDA soil data we find for them.
  • Your email address, if you enter it to view and receive your free soil results, and whether you opted in to occasional property-soil updates.
  • Order details if you buy a report: the report tier, amount, your email and any project or client name you add. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Basic usage data: pages viewed, campaign tags in links (UTM parameters), the referring site, your browser's user-agent, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We set a first-party cookie so we can connect your searches and purchases, and keep campaign tags for your browser session.

How we use it

  • To run the soil lookup, show your results, email your free soil preview, and deliver reports you buy.
  • To understand which pages and ads lead to lookups and purchases, and which areas to cover next.
  • If you opted in, to send occasional property-soil updates. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

  • We do not sell or share your email or personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
  • We use service providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), the US Census Bureau geocoder and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (to locate addresses), USDA NRCS Soil Data Access (soil data for a map point) and OpenStreetMap (map tiles loaded by your browser). If our Google Ads tag is enabled, Google receives ad-measurement data.

Your choices

  • You can unsubscribe from optional updates at any time using the link in any such email.
  • You can ask us to delete your email address and the lookups linked to it by writing to us. We may keep order records we need for accounting and tax purposes.
